Chris Ross was born in Ogden, Utah on July 29, 1980 and raised in Hooper, Utah. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2016. Chris graduated from Weber State University with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2012. He earned his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2016.

During law school, Chris was a member of the competitive Mock Trial Team. He represented South Texas in three varsity mock trial tournaments:

  • Carolinas Invitational, hosted by Charlotte School of Law, Finalist,
  • National Ethics Trial Competition, hosted by McGeorge School of Law,
  • ABA Labor Regional Qualifying Tournament in Dallas, Texas, Semi-finalist.

Chris interned with the Harris County Attorney’s Office during his second year of law school. He interned at the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office during his third year of law school. During this internship, he gained valuable trial skills and experience in criminal law.

He joined the firm in January 2017 and currently practices in the areas of insurance defense and general civil defense.
